Currently, the shop floor has four departments and approximately 20 employees. It is comprised of the Vertical Machine Centers, the Horizontal Machine Centers, the Turning Centers and the Custom Tool Shop. Each of these work centers reports to the shop foreman who works with Quality Control to make sure our products are of the highest quality before they leave the shop floor. After passing final inspection in Quality Control, the product is released to the Shipping/Receiving Department for disbursement.
Fosbinder Fabrication Inc.'s skilled craftsmen are encouraged to apprentice in other areas in the shop, to the benefit of the employee, the corporation and the customer.

Fosbinder Fabrication, Inc.'s Quality Control program ensures purchased materials and products are inspected upon receipt to verify customer compliance with drawings and specifications. A permanent historical document of this inspection operation is created and kept. The implemented Quality Control program provides for inspection and testing of completed items throughout the production process. Problems encountered during production testing are coordinated by Quality Control and management to establish corrective action affectivity. The Quality Control system provides that when any material is found to depart from specification or drawing requirements and the material cannot be made to conform by reprocessing through an operation or by completion of an omitted operation, the item will be withheld for review by management. The discrepant material is diverted to a material review bond area, to prevent unauthorized use.
