Fosbinder Fabrication, Inc.'s calibration/certification program provides a controlled system of recall and data collection for control of measurement standards. Test equipment is periodically certified against standards directly traceable to the National Bureau of Standards. Secondary standards are calibrated against primary standards at intervals. Measurement and test equipment historical data is utilized to adjust calibration intervals and to provide objective evidence of calibration. Fosbinder Fabrication, Inc. measurement program complies with the requirements of ANS/ISO/IEC 17025:2005, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, Calibration Laboratories and Measuring and Test Equipment General Requirements.

This standard provides a mechanism for promoting confidence in calibration laboratories and measuring and test equipment when it can be shown that they are operated in compliance with its requirements.

Inspectors continually inspect the product throughout the production process to see to it that production remains within compliance.

Fosbinder Fabrication, Inc.'s Quality Control program ensures purchased materials and products are inspected upon receipt to verify customer compliance with drawings and specifications. A permanent historical document of this inspection operation is created and kept. The implemented Quality Control program provides for inspection and testing of completed items throughout the production process. Problems encountered during production testing are coordinated by Quality Control and management to establish corrective action affectivity. The Quality Control system provides that when any material is found to depart from specification or drawing requirements and the material cannot be made to conform by reprocessing through an operation or by completion of an omitted operation, the item will be withheld for review by management. The discrepant material is diverted to a material review bond area, to prevent unauthorized use.
